If you are in an NFL contest you realize just how hectic it can be. Each week is like a roller coaster of emotions as you hope that you have a perfect card that will help you rise up the leaderboard. Yet every week if you have a tough time you know that there is still time to rebound and be a contender. With the NFL season coming to a close, that time is starting to run out.
This can be difficult to deal with when you are in a contest with friends and family, but when you are in the World Series of Handicapping it is harder than ever. The World Series of Handicapping, also known as the WSOH, is a contest that includes a collection of some of the best handicappers in the world. Because the competition is so stiff, it is not always easy to keep up with the rest of the field. Heading into week 12, the fight for first place is ferocious and getting harder and harder each week.
For the third time in as many weeks we have a new front runner in this contest. Currently in first place is the new leader Whitey 19 who took over the top spot from Enigma and the rest of the talented pool of handicappers. Whitey 19 currently has amassed 98.00 points on the season and has a remarkable 51-26 record. He cannot afford to get too comfortable as plenty of other entrants are vying for the top spot.
Natejacobson is in second place with a 49-27-1 record with +95.20 units and in third place is Enigma, who was in first place a week ago. Enigma has a 46-30-1 record with 82.40 units gained.
This does not mean the race is over. This is a contest that features some of the best players in the country. Each week each player will pick seven sides or totals and if they happen to sweep the board it could completely change the landscape of this contest.
That puts all the pressure on Whitey 19 who has several totals as part of his selections for week 12. Here is a look at his picks heading into kickoff for this week.
- 7 Units: Titans vs. Eagles OVER
- 6 Units: Packers vs. Vikings Over
- 5 Units: Cincinnati Bengals
- 4 Units: Cleveland Browns
- 3 Units: Dallas Cowboys
- 2 Units: Detroit Lions
- 1 Unit: Baltimore Ravens
The WSOH consensus reveals the most popular picks of the week in the contest. This week some of the most commonly selected teams include the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night football over the New Orleans Saints. This contest can change on a week-to-week basis, so stay tuned to see who will walk away with the title of the World Series of Handicapping Champion!
