The World Series of Handicapping is a free contest for sports handicappers who love to make NFL picks and the contest is open to players worldwide.
The prizes include a Barons contest ring in addition to cash prizes, and free plays sponsored by our title sponsor Bookmaker.
Registration opens on July 13th, which kicks off the fourth season, and we are looking forward to another exciting competition as players compete against each other to make the best NFL picks each week.
Not much has changed from last year, but it does not hurt to give a refresher to our returning members and highlight some key points for the benefit of new participants.
1) The Contest is Open to Contestants 21 and Older.
You MUST be 21 years and older to claim the prizes. There is no point entering if you are under 21 because we will verify age and identity before the prizes are issued.
2) Remember the Rules.
We know with all of the excitement to post your picks and you may be tempted to gloss over or completely ignore the rules. It is in your best interest to take a few minutes to go through all the rules and bookmark the page for easy access.
3) Understand the Difference in Prizes.
The overall World Series of Handicapping grand prizes are cash prizes, whereas the weekly prizes are free play accounts offered by our sponsor Bookmaker. Free play accounts are subject to the company’s terms and conditions, so please familiarize yourselves with them.
4) Remember there are Different Deadlines.
Selections must be submitted by 10PM (CST) Central Standard Time on Saturdays; however, if you are using a Thursday game as a selection then ALL selections for the week must be made before kickoff of the Thursday game.
5) Check Your Picks Before Posting.
The official contest line is posted on Wednesday and the line will NOT change. Selections are official once they are entered and may NOT be modified. Check your picks before posting.
Now that you have figured out the basics, don’t forget to register for World Series of Handicapping 4, starting on August 13th, 2015.
